SA Youth is dedicated to helping San Antonio’s younger generation and young adults unlock their full potential with supportive programs and a safe space. Today, they’re sharing how they’re reaching even more people, Michaela spoke with Director of Therapeutic Services to show us why mental health matters.

SA Youth is expanding their services; they are providing Calm Clinics, which both helps students get their high school diploma as well as help them with mental health. The Calm Clinic is open to the whole community and helps entire families recover from trauma or other problems.

Their counselors provide trauma focused on cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and more. This means they help work through anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. A lot of people come to the Calm Clinic at their lowest, but they help them feel better, stay stronger, and build long-term goals.

If you or someone you know is in need of help with mental health, go to their website and register for their Calm Clinic to begin the healing process.
