Grace Vanderwaal is taking a pause from touring to take care of her mental health.
The 22-year-old America’s Got Talent winner shared a statement on Instagram on Monday (March 9) to say she will “not be going on the Natalie Jane tour due to mental health.”
“I’ve been struggling for a while and am choosing myself in this moment. I love you Natalie and know you’re going to kill it, and I’m sorry to anyone who’s disappointed I love you so much and will be singing very soon,” she wrote.

The decision comes a little over four months since the passing of her mother, Tina, who died from cancer at age 53. Grace announced her loss in October.
