Islam Times – The psychological toll of constant airstrike sirens and relentless resistance attacks has triggered a surge in mental health disorders among settlers, as the regime struggles to cope with the pressure of Iran’s strategic deterrence and the Lebanese resistance’s precision strikes. For days, residents of the occupied Palestine territories have been trapped in a cycle of panic, forced to flee between bomb shelters and their homes at a moment’s notice as Iranian and Hezbollah missiles and drones penetrate the regime’s air defenses.
Reports from within the occupied lands confirm a sharp rise in anxiety, PTSD, and other psychological disorders, directly linked to the regime’s inability to provide security or stability.
The scale of the crisis is evident in the sheer frequency of attacks: within just three to four hours, multiple waves of Iranian and Hezbollah strikes have repeatedly triggered emergency sirens across the north of the occupied territories. Each incoming missile or drone forces settlers into shelters, only for them to emerge once the all-clear is given—if it comes at all.
Compounding the chaos, Israeli media and officials have admitted that sirens often blare even when no actual threat exists, while in other instances, missiles strike without any warning at all. This erratic and unpredictable environment has deepened the psychological trauma, leaving settlers in a state of constant fear and uncertainty.
The crisis has only intensified since the US-imposed war on Iran—dubbed the “Ramadan War” by the resistance axis—escalated, exposing the fragility of the Israeli regime’s defenses and the devastating human cost of its aggression.
As Iranian and allied forces continue to assert their right to self-defense, the psychological collapse of the occupying population serves as a stark reminder of the unsustainable nature of the Zionist project in the face of determined resistance.
