Chili, N.Y. — Roberts Wesleyan University hosted an event on Saturday to raise awareness for mental health.

Students participating in “Smash the Stigma,” smashed 100 pumpkins to represent smashing negative mental health stigmas.

Additionally, the university provided mental health resources and giveaways to support ongoing awareness.

“Smash the Stigma” was held onNational Pumpkin Day, following Roberts Wesleyan University’s signature field hockey game, where athletes historically support other athletes.
