On March 17, 2026, the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) announced that it will hold a public hearing on April 17, 2026, for the purpose of gathering feedback on proposed changes to forty-six (46) Ohio Administrative Code rules in Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) chapters 5122-24, 5122-25, 5122-26, 5122-27, and 5122-28.
DBH created a helpful chart summarizing the content of the proposed new and amended rules (as well as those to be rescinded). We highlighted in yellow what we deem to be the most significant proposed changes and in green the rules that appear to include the most significant changes.
