DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) -Assertive Community Treatment or ACT provides community-based treatment and healthy living solutions for people with chronic mental illness.
Vera French Community Mental Health Center began providing Assertive Community Treatment in 2018 to address homelessness and other problems associated with untreated, chronic mental illness.
Because of its success, the Scott County Mental Health Alliance, which is a group of local county, law enforcement and healthcare officials, is talking about expanding the program in Scott County.
