SPARTA, Mich. — A 19-year-old missed his bus on Monday morning and has not been seen since.

Eric Madrigal, a 19-year-old from Sparta, left his home at the Glenwood Mobile Home Park on Monday at 7 a.m., didn’t make it onto the bus for school and hasn’t been seen or heard from since, according to Kent County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) deputies.

Deputies said Madrigal may be having a mental health crisis and were extensively searching for him throughout the night on Monday.

He was last seen wearing a black puffy coat, grey sweatpants, a dark colored beanie and tennis shoes. Deputies said he also recently shaved his head and does not have a vehicle or phone.
