CALABASAS, CA, April 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Daphna Cardinale, LMFT, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Cardinale has established herself as a leading licensed marriage and family therapist, demonstrating nearly two decades of expertise in individual and group therapy, trauma, addiction, neurodivergence, women’s health and relationship issues. Since 2012, she has served at Cardinale Family Therapy, Inc., where she works with individuals in one-on-one sessions and facilitates group therapy meetings to help those in need find greater peace, balance and fulfillment in their lives. Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and general practitioners to ensure comprehensive care, she also teaches her clients about coping tools and makes referrals to medical providers when necessary.
In her leadership role, Ms. Cardinale trains and supervises other therapists and educates fertility clinics on best safety practices. She is dedicated to training therapists in fertility-related emotional issues and advocates for in vitro fertilization (IVF) reform and legislative change. Her commitment extends to providing emotional support to families who have been affected by IVF mishaps — a cause deeply personal to her due to her own experience navigating the profound emotional trauma of an IVF mix-up case. This event not only shaped her professional focus but also stands as her most notable achievement: keeping her family united through extraordinary circumstances while championing mental health support within the fertility community.
From 2012 to 2015, Ms. Cardinale contributed as an event coordinator for the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles. In this capacity, she organized professional development opportunities for her fellow therapists and fostered collaboration among the public relations team, volunteers and outreach members.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Cardinale served as a marriage and family therapist intern in private practice under the supervision of Dr. Susan Spiegel from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, she completed an extensive tenure at The Maple Counseling Center’s Training Program in Beverly Hills from 2008 to 2011, first as a trainee and then as a psychotherapy intern. These formative years provided her with foundational experience in working with adolescents, adults and couples in need.
Beyond her clinical practice, Ms. Cardinale and her husband co-founded Hope Without Harm Inc. — a nonprofit organization established in 2024 that focuses on education and reform related to IVF and fertility clinic safety protocols. As president of the organization, she leads initiatives aimed at improving industry standards while supporting other families who have been affected by fertility challenges.
Alongside her endeavors at Cardinale Family Therapy and Hope Without Harm, Ms. Cardinale is dedicated to advancing standards within her field through ongoing advocacy work and memberships in the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the Group Psychotherapy Association of Los Angeles.
Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Cardinale earned a Master of Arts in clinical psychology from Antioch University in 2009 as well as a Bachelor of Science in speech and communications from Northwestern University in 2000. Additionally, she studied at the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University in England in 1999, which enriched her communication skills and broadened her perspective.
Ms. Cardinale’s undergraduate studies at Northwestern included theater and communication alongside numerous psychology courses. After over fifteen years of pursuing a professional career in the Entertainment Industry in New York City and Los Angeles, she found greater fulfillment through personal therapy — a transformative experience that led her to pursue clinical psychology.
To augment her knowledge and qualifications, Ms. Cardinale is licensed as a marriage and family therapist in California. She also received her certification as a hypnotherapist from PESI for Hypnosis for Trauma and PTSD and her certification as a psychedelic-assisted therapist from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She also completed specialized child and family training as well as group therapy training and domestic violence training, all at The Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills.
Reflecting on her storied journey to date, Ms. Cardinale attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family — particularly her husband — and the collaborative spirit of her colleagues who continually inspire new approaches to therapy. Her journey into the profession was influenced by her natural inclination toward helping others, a role she embraced as a mediator within her own family growing up.
Also known for her community service contributions, Ms. Cardinale is actively involved through volunteer work at her children’s schools. Her family life has been uniquely shaped by her own IVF mix-up experience; while she has two biological children, she maintains close relationships with the other daughter she gave birth to that is not biologically hers as well as that child’s older sibling and their parents — celebrating holidays and birthdays together as an extended family unit.
Determined to further her impact in the coming years, Ms. Cardinale intends to expand her work with individuals facing fertility issues by developing comprehensive curricula that extend beyond traditional therapy or support groups. She aims to create educational platforms and mindfulness programs designed to alleviate anxiety while addressing broader societal challenges such as burnout and cognitive fatigue. Through these efforts, she seeks to foster greater connection among individuals, believing that healing on a personal level contributes meaningfully to social harmony.
