May is Mental Health Awareness Month.  Taking time each May to focus on mental health is an important reminder that mental well-being deserves the same attention as physical health. This May, consider taking a free “Mental Health First Aid” training. Just as CPR helps someone respond to a physical emergency, Mental Health First Aid gives individuals the tools to respond calmly and confidently when a family member, friend or flying partner struggles emotionally. It builds empathy, strengthens communication skills, and helps create safer, more supportive environments.

During Mental Health Month, consider taking a Mental Health First Aid course, virtually or in-person.  Mental Health First Aid’s evidence-based training gives you the skills to recognize when someone is facing mental health or substance use challenges and the confidence to be their first source of support.
