GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – LEAD Upstate launched a program to provide mental health resources to law enforcement officers working in Greenville County.
The organization said the “Stay with Me” Mental Health and Wellness Program extends its mission beyond Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. The program provides ongoing, confidential mental health and wellness resources to law enforcement officers and their families serving Greenville County.
“Law enforcement officers give everything to protect our community, and we want them to know that this community has their back every single day — not just one day in September,” said Seabrook Marchant, founder of LEAD Upstate. “The Stay with Me program is our commitment to the whole officer — their health, their resilience, and their family. We want every officer to feel safe reaching out, knowing their privacy is fully protected.”
The Stay with Me Wellness Fund is sponsored and managed by LEAD Upstate and administered in coordination with Upstate Warrior Solution, the organization said.
The organization said officers have access to the following resources:
Individual counseling sessionsWellness and resilience trainingFamily-based activities designed to strengthen communication and connectionOther wellness resources as needed
All services are provided at no cost to officers and are handled with complete confidentiality, according to the organization.
Officers working in Greenville County can access this program by completing a confidential enrollment form, emailing Upstate Warrior Solution’s Keith Dorman at kdorman@uws.us or inquiring with their agency’s command staff.
The organization said officers should note “LEAD Police Referral” in the interest field when completing the form.
The organization said the program is made possible through sponsors. One $15,000 sponsorship opportunity remains available.
