LEAD Upstate has launched a new year-round initiative to provide mental health and wellness resources to law enforcement officers in Greenville County.

The “Stay with Me” Mental Health and Wellness Program will offer a range of free services to local officers, such as individual counseling, wellness and resilience training, family-based activities focused on communication and connection and other resources.

Seabrook Marchant, founder of LEAD Upstate, said law enforcement officers give everything to protect the local community. LEAD Upstate was founded in 2014 to share the community’s appreciation and gratitude for the work of the officers in Greenville County.

“The Stay with Me program is our commitment to the whole officer — their health, their resilience and their family. We want every officer to feel safe reaching out, knowing their privacy is fully protected,” Marchant said.

Local law enforcement officers can access the program’s mental health and wellness services by completing a confidential enrollment form, contacting their agency’s command staff or emailing Upstate Warrior Solution’s Keith Dorman at kdorman@uws.us

The “Stay with Me” Mental Health and Wellness Program will be administered in coordination with Upstate Warrior Solution. Local sponsors, including CPI Security, will provide financial support for the program.
