ST. PAUL — NAMI Minnesota (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) 2024 State Conference, “Every Mind Matters,” will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 9, at the St. Paul RiverCentre. The conference offers keynote speakers, workshops and networking opportunities for professionals, advocates, individuals living with mental illnesses, and their families.

Breakout sessions will cover various topics, including navigating mental health challenges in college, legislative updates, alternative holistic approaches, the integration of substance use disorder treatment with mental health care, new approaches to treating schizophrenia, and dealing with grief.

There will also be multicultural stories of healing and recovery, treatment options for borderline personality disorder, insights into local suicide prevention efforts, chronic health conditions, involving parents in their children’s treatment, and employment tips and practice interviews for job seekers with mental illnesses.
