A doctor has described the NHS as “appalling”, after her mum was allowed to walk out of a mental health unit, before taking her own life. Angela Rich had repeatedly told staff about her suicidal thoughts, yet was still allowed to leave the George Bryan Centre, in Staffordshire, alone.
