Thursday, June 4 — TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Health Department is set to host the first of its free educational series that will focus on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Protective and Compensatory Experiences (PACEs).
The series, called the “What We Grow Through”, will be divided into two sessions which will bring awareness about how life experiences can impact health and behavior. It will also discuss what people can do to apply that understanding to support growth.
The sessions will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Tulsa Health Department North Regional Health and Wellness Center, located at 5635 North Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Each session will feature a presentation and offer resources for the participants. Space is limited a registration is required to attend.
