Getting in shape is a lot easier with the right support. English Bulldog Lavelle knows this, which is why he volunteered to be right by his mom’s side through her tough workout, and he makes the best coach!

Though sweet and sassy, Lavelle is a ham most of the time, he looks extra sweet wearing his matching sweatshirt with Mom (@lavelle_maslow). You can see how cool he feels in it as he happily steps on the bench to offer moral support. This Bulldog has a habit of being the star of everything he does, and I’m not mad about it! He can get himself into trouble to get Dad’s attention or call Mom at work through the home camera, and it’s all so very on-brand for this cutie!

Lavelle’s 85,000 TikTok followers are thrilled to see anything he does, so this workout clip is just more icing on the proverbial cake. One person even offered the pup a little advice saying, “You don’t wanna get to buff Lavelle. The ladies are already lining up,” which is totally true, probably!

English Bulldogs Really Enjoy Attention
Dogs like Lavelle can’t really get into any sort of intense exercise due to English Bulldogs being as a brachycephalic (short-nosed) breed. They still need regular movement for their health, but they don’t do great in hot weather and may pant, snort, snore, or make lots of noises while they struggle to breathe. So workouts with Mom should be short and fun.
That being said, PetMD describes English Bulldogs as friendly, calm, and easy going pups. However, even with their loyalty to their people, they can be stubborn at times when they don’t want to do something (or when they do) and they really do love to be the center of attention. This works great in families with kids or other pets because they tend to get along with almost everyone. Plus, that’s just more people to give them pets!
Lavelle is used to being right by his mom’s side, so it’s no surprise he’s even there to support her workout. And if nothing else, he looks pretty darn cute in his sweatshirt!
