Health Smart | UPMC expands women’s mental health services
A new space in Camp Hill is opening the door to more mental health care for women across central Pennsylvania after the previous office couldn’t keep up with the demand.
“When I get referred to a pregnant patient, I can’t say, ‘I’ll see you in six months,’ because we will have missed the opportunity to help her,” said Doctor David Silver.
The reproductive psychiatrist with UPMC Magee-Womens says the new location on Corporate Center Drive is three times larger than the old one, with more therapy rooms, space for group sessions and room to add future services… all while lowering wait times for care.
