CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – The Gibson Center for Behavioral Change is hosting its second free public conference focusing on behavioral health, crisis and resilience.

The CARE symposium will take place at Century Casino in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday, June 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions sharing strategies on mental health and resilience, networking, vendors and more.

According to the Gibson Center, at the end of May, more than 250 had registered for the all-day event.

They said the event is open to behavioral health professionals, community professionals, law enforcement, families, and other community members.

The registration deadline for the symposium was May 24.
