BARNEGAT-MANAHAWKIN, NJ — People who prefer to eat healthier (or maybe just want a change from all the chicken restaurants) in Barnegat and Manahawkin now have some more options, with two new eateries opening this fall.
Salad House, a fast casual restaurant, recently opened its doors in Manahawkin. It’s located at 712 E. Bay Ave.
As the name suggests, this eatery offers a variety of customizable salads (or you can build your own if none are to your liking).
You can also enjoy soups, sandwiches, wraps and grain bowls.
Salad House is a New Jersey-based chain that’s been growing in popularity over the past few years. The closest location is in Toms River.
Meanwhile, coming soon in Barnegat is Rejuvie Smoothie, which will be located at 770 Lighthouse Dr. Unit 106a.
Their Facebook page says they will open in fall 2024, and that they are currently hiring managers and staff.
A post says that they will serve “smoothies, smoothie bowls, protein shakes, cold press juices, health shots, salads, and waffles.”
