HANCOCK, Mich. (WBUP/WJMN) — A new online mental health service is coming to Michigan Technological University’s (MTU) student body in its partnership for Mantra Health beginning July 1.
Mantra Health offers one-on-one therapy sessions with licensed providers that students can choose themselves.
Crystal McLeod, director of the new center, said a key draw of the Mantra Health collaboration was its student-facing portal, which connects users with clinical staff and gives students greater transparency into their own care.
Vice President of Student Affairs Laura Beulleit said student well-being and student success are inseparable.
Students can find more details about the partnership online.
