Zainb Hemeda Bio:
Zainb Hemeda is a graduate student in the Mental Health Counseling program at Manhattan University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with honors from Brooklyn College, where she was also inducted into the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
Zainb began her career as a Direct Support Professional with the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). Her work spans a range of settings, including schools, group homes, and hospitals, and she has experience supporting both children and adults facing mood disorders, trauma, and developmental challenges.
Currently, Zainb is completing her clinical internship at The Hispanic Mental Health Counseling PLLC. Zainb is deeply committed to empowering individuals in both one-on-one and group settings. Her dedication to mental health is driven by a strong belief in the power of empathy, advocacy, and evidence-based care.
