My Behavioral Health & Wellness Story: Abby
When 17-year-old Abby’s family noticed signs that she was struggling with an eating disorder, it began a long journey of treatment and recovery – and eventually put the Omaha high schooler on a path to helping others experiencing similar challenges. Through the comprehensive Eating Disorders program at Children’s Nebraska, Abby found resources and support from a compassionate care team, camaraderie with peers and a sense of her own strength and courage.
