The Problem With Residual Symptoms for Patients With MDD: Focus on Insomnia

Join us for a symposium on major depressive disorder (MDD) designed to encourage the exchange of ideas between leaders in the field and attendees. This presentation will include a discussion of typical first-line treatments for MDD and how these traditional therapies may result in suboptimal treatment response and adverse side effects; the importance of regularly assessing/screening for treatment response to identify residual symptoms, such as insomnia; and how the presence of residual symptoms, such as insomnia, may lead to poor long-term depression treatment response and decreased quality of life.
