How I Stayed Calm While Working in a Mental Health Hospital

During one of the hardest seasons of my life, I was secretly homeless while working in a mental hospital. Every day, I had to train nurses and therapists to stay calm under pressure-while silently carrying my own battles.

It was during this time that I found John Assaraf’s AIA Innercise breathing technique. AIA stands for Awareness, Intention, and Action.

Whenever fear, exhaustion, or anger started to take over, AIA helped me slow down, reset my mind, and act with control instead of chaos.

In this Short, I share how that simple practice became a survival tool during the most overwhelming moments of my life. I share how I stayed calm while working in a mental health hospital. Learn about resilience and mental health awareness. #adapt2win #mentalhealth #silentbattles

If you’re battling something heavy while trying to stay strong for others-you’re not alone. And you have more power to choose your focus than you think.

I also recently went deeper into these experiences during my first livestream, where I opened up about the reality of carrying personal struggles while still showing up professionally.
