[Music] the model that we developed for Psychiatry here really is taking it to another level both in terms of psychiatric care but how it integrates with all the clinical care that evolve provides whether it’s cognitive behavioral therapy seeking safety dialectical behavior therapy all of these are evidence backed for treating these complex issues when your child is in the residential level of care we are doing our best not only in the individual meetings but we are also trying to address the family dynamics that could be an interplay and our goal is not just to treat the child alone but also to include the family the technology that we’re bringing to clinical assessment so that we can diagnose with extremely high accuracy that’s important because the correct diagnosis is essential for correct care plan there is usually a gap of several years between the symptoms it and when the diagnosis is made so if we are able to cut short and get them the treatment sooner the likelihood of the outcomes is going to be much better most teenagers do not like to feel like they have a problem they have a sense of invisibility by knowing the strengths we have a chance to help them utilize that to help them recover the other part about it more medically is that teenagers represent this unique time period in which they’re beginning to have the intellect of an adult yet they’re dealing with all the physical changes still of a child they have this unique capacity to see the world in a new way and it provides a lot of Hope what’s also great about having a full-time psychiatrist on staff is their availability to us they get a better picture of what the client is experiencing versus what the staff sees it really supports the client in their growth because we don’t have to wait a whole nother week to get things they really are available when we meet them the program for Psychiatry that we’ve developed at evolve has really led to a developmental progression and I would say taking it to a level that most residential treatment facilities don’t achieve having salaried full-time psychiatrists who are part of the team dedicated to particular locations within evolved and integrated into specific teams and so we’ve taken it far beyond that and will continue to evolve in the quality of care that we’re providing to kids foreign
