lifestyle Psychiatry looks at how different lifestyle behaviors impact both prevention and prevalence as well as management of symptoms of different psychiatric disorders as well as also looking at how lifestyle interventions can cultivate well-being improve quality of life and optimize brain health and there are many different pillars or interventions that make up the field of Lifestyle Psychiatry but the pillars that I tend to work with are nutrition and diet physical activity exercise Mind Body practices like yoga meditation and mindfulness social connections as well as um the reduction of risky substances and sleep
