COPE Helps Bring Mental Health Care to Crime Victims

Megan Wallace and the Community Outreach Program–Esperanza (COPE) team are working to break down barriers to mental health care.

Since 1999, COPE has brought support directly to crime victims who may not have access to traditional office-based services, meeting patients where they are: in homes, schools and through telehealth.

The Employee Initiatives Grant is helping the team expand their reach even further by providing safety tools like medication lock boxes and coping tools, like therapy journals and grounding objects. It’s all part of ensuring care is accessible, practical, and healing.

Thanks for all you do, Megan!
