I mainly read or watch anime for my mental health. I have to take multiple medications due to being diabetic. So after dealing with taking my insulin, I tend to read to distract me since I am actually afraid of needles.
Happy birthday, brother. You gave me a gift on Sunday and I didn’t even know your birthday was so soon. Sooner than mine… Happy birthday. And thank you for all you do to remind us that it’s okay to not be okay and that God still loves us even though we are broken. God loves you too.
I discuss with a psychologist regarding situations that I feel I would like to improve myself. I have learned regarding my triggers. In this video, English subtitle is available, they shared regarding trigger & backpack. Trigger & Backpack – TOEYJARIN channel https://youtu.be/33I0vhzCKtg?si=-yanGzfyplCPcr-X In addition, I enjoy singing, listening to music with family members, friends. I enjoy drawing, reading novels, playing a musical instrument, molding light clay, making smoothies 😊
I've tried meditation in the past, some helped, some didn't. Now, I'm a supplement girl! Spirulina & St Johns Wort helps with mood support. So does omegas/fish oils.
However, what helped me the most, was removing toxic people from my life, even when it's family, & learning how to say no!
Resting when I work to hard. Eating my vegetables! Cut back on coffee, Music, soft lights. Candle light. Less sugar. Reading the promises in the Bible. Proverbs
I've tried nearly everything to treat my anxiety, nothing has seemed to work out. I tried EN (delorazepam) 1 mg, it didn't give me the slightest sedation, it was quite the same as taking a sugar candy, no sedation or relaxation of any kind whatsoever, no brakes for anxiety, not a single bit of relief. After taking it 7 times my psychiatrist changed my therapy. I've tried Zoloft (sertraline) for two months 25,50 and 75 mg, absolutely zero effects, I tried Ativan (lorazepam) 2.5 mg, absolutely zero effect on anxiety. I kept running and wandering the house for hours after taking it due to anxiety. I tried Trilafon (perphenazine), absolutely zero sedation, zero calming effects, anxiety pushing to the top. It's so frustrating, I fear there's something wrong with my brain.
SSRI’s don’t do anything for anxiety. They are for depression. I have severe anxiety and I’m looking for an anxiety med. In the UK, doctors won’t prescribe us meds for anxiety like benzos, I know they do in the US. It’s so frustrating. I’ve only got propranolol from them which is heart medication for heart patients!!
I take amitriptyline (I think that is how you spell it I don’t really know) for my anxiety. It helps a lot. I also take a liquid medicine if I go somewhere like a funeral or somewhere that gives me anxiety. I forgot what that was called. If I remember, I will edit this and write the name
Forgot to say, if you get prescripted this, take it away night because it WILL get you sleepy and drowsy if you take it in the morning
I think it should be more common practice to only take the med when you actually need it. I myself suffer from chronic anxiety but I also find a lot of comfort in my own home so I don’t typically need the med. after suffering from it for so long you learn to gauge who where and what gives you the most anxiety and decide preemptively whether to take the pill or not

Nature
Praying & overworking myself to the point of exhaustion helps me alot. I dont really like consuming meds
Listening to music, praise and worship music and reading
I actually take an anxiety medication as well. Christian music helps me, including yours. You are amazing buddy.

Pottery, hiking, xc skiing, gardening, walking and watching birds are what keep me in check.
Alot of phsych meds will mess you up bad down the line. Thats why we have so many deaths especially in military. Use mushrooms for mental health..
Pretty much it's Gods Word. Maybe, one day, that will be true for you too. Maybe not. Thanks for posting. Agree, it should not be a stygma.
SSRI = super super pharma scam?
Dwelling on Christianity can send you into anxiety if you constantly think about going to hell.
Satan can help with your anxiety as well.
Pregabilin works better than SSRIs for me
