Death Row Inmate’s Fate in Question After Mental Health Hearing
A South Carolina death row inmate convicted of killing two law enforcement officers is now at the center of a critical legal decision. Steven Bixby, sentenced to death in 2007, had his execution halted as questions arise about his mental competency.
