Therapy Tips You Forgot: A Mental Health Checklist for Self-Care 💜

Jokes aside, I always like to think of my therapist as a master re-framer. They’re not telling me anything new, but rather they’re there to remind me lessons I forgot.

If you aren’t seeing your therapist any time soon, here’s a little check-list that helps me, and maybe could help you!:
Move: Stand up and go for a mental health walk outside 🍃 or take out your stress on some heavy weights
Connect with Someone: When was the last time you reached out to someone who you love?
Nourish: Have you eaten yet? When was the last time you drank some water?

On a more serious note, September is #suicidepreventionmonth, so remember it’s okay to ask for help. Your mental health is important. There is support available. You are not alone. 💜

  1. This year i took thanks to my colleagues at the beginning of the year 2 sick weeks, because I was almost at a mental breakdown and spent the first week just in bed/room because i was down and didn't have the mental strength to do anything.
    Then i had a 2 week vacation in juni and used 10 days for an AI travel in egypt. I spent again the first 4 days mostly sleeping in bed and being down…
