The State of Mental Health in India | Manoj Chandran | TEDxBangaloreStudio
In this conversation our Curator Sartaj Anand and Manoj Chandran, CEO of White Swan Foundation for Mental Health, explore how more than a billion people are living with a fragile critical mental healthcare ecosystem. This may be India’s Achilles heel as it grapples with COVID-19 so they’ll examine the multiple realities playing out in India, and what we can possibly do about it on a personal and systemic level. Manoj Chandran is the founding CEO of White Swan Foundation for Mental Health, a Bengaluru-based nonprofit organization committed to delivering knowledge services for mental health and wellbeing. He has more than 25 years of experience in a wide range of areas that include journalism, communications, marketing, strategy, and leadership. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
