How to get help for mental illnesses
Mental health disorders are treatable, but last year, nearly 57 percent of those who needed treatment did not get it. For advice on how to find help, psychiatrists Dr. Ken Duckworth and Dr. Sue Varma, along with CBS News chief medical correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook, join “CBS This Morning’s” special “Stop the Stigma” broadcast.

None of my docs will nor cld see mental illness right in front of them… my docs are so stuck up that they put their noses up when someone who has mental health problems can't comprehend what they are saying and if you miss apts ur out no questions asked
For starters, don't call 911 for a "wellness check" 🔫, you could be executed. Second, understand it is legal to involuntarily hospitalize you.
Help yourself holistically, a pill does not cure everything!!!!
The key word here is "Insurance". A lot of people with mental illness cannot work, therefore can't afford Health insurance…it's a dead end at this point for many of us.
Severe and persistent mental illness is treated with medication and has almost nothing to do with grief, life problems or needing to talk to someone. I don't understand the media push towards meditation and therapy when neither are stand-alone treatments for mental illness.
:31 it should be but its not they outsourcer you to state helo that takes weeks. been there done that
Nice way to rush thru a issue that is so critically important. Yea you give a crap.
The lady in the yellow forget to mention one crucially important thing. If she prescribes you the wrong meds It can easily ruin your life. Then, That's on you not the Doctor………
May all with mental illness be healed in the name of Jesus
