Defense lawyer speaks after ABC10 Sacramento shooting: charges, bail, and mental health
The man accused of firing three shots into the ABC10 building in Sacramento remains behind bars after a federal judge denied bail. Prosecutors have charged 64-year-old Anibal Hernandez Santana with both state and federal crimes, including assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building, interfering with a licensed station, and discharging a firearm in a school zone. His attorney, Mark Reichel, says Santana believes in a free press and is being treated for anxiety and depression. State arraignment is set for October 16.

He should not make any conjectures about his client. He should not discuss the case with the media at all, except to say what point the case is at and that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
