  1. There's no Homemade & Heartfelt, No feelings discussed or Spiritual connection. It's All about Consumerism, buying, working BUT a LOVELESS, FAST, SCREEN filled, stuff but Nobody Loves anybody. What about Being in person with another person? Nobody's home that's the problem.

  2. Toddlers will be next bcuz parents give phones and iPads and elementary school 🏫 and middle schoolers are 1000% addicted kids need More nature and being outside reconnecting with friends in person leave freakin phones at home

  3. Could it be because your brain has zero downtime? Gen X'er here – 🙂 Pre-Cellphone and internet: The first day of school was always an exciting time: Got to see friends you hadn't seen in a couple of months and hear all about their summer. Todays generation knows everything about everyone the moment it happens ( even when those moments might not be the whole truth ). There is zero wonder about anything and the worry is FOMO. Me me me me / now now now now / more more more more. My advice – turn the phone off and enjoy the moment. Create memories – The brain is a horrible thing to waste

  4. it is more likely plastic in our brains, seriously people, teachers report adhd linked behaviour in more and more children and as someone who has it and has neuro research to point to I can say that that is absolutely terrifying

  5. he is wrong, this has been festering for a while and the internet plays a role but it worked as a katalyst, neurological issues are not caused by smartphones but a digital world is colder and leads to more isolation, more hype, more bullying

i did not see kids obsess over their smartphones in 2014-2015, I do see more of that now but it seems to me that that is more likely the ipad kids

  6. I live in Texas. Every single 12 year old has a smart phone. This conversation is too late here. Parents’ and kids’ brains have been taken over by worms!
