My mother has these disorders and I'm going to tell you it's a challenge but I love her I will take a bullet for her any day and I just have to have patience with her I grew up around it
Hank Green?!?!!? He answers everything
WHY IS NO-ONE TALKING ABOUT THE FIGHT CLUB REFERENCE?
Nervine system.
WHO.
Can anyone tell me what hoax he's referencing at around 0:44?
"It is a rare and flashy disorder."
WOO! Looking good up there on the retina screen!
Let's pause a diagnosis until health care fraud is fully investigated DSM wise. A pause because sometimes events really are just happening due to a power imbalance of some gaslighting another person exploiting them.
Easy to set up someone with divisional politics methods that have been utilized for so long. For example holding someone against their will causing a drug induced psychosis to discredit a person from taking legal action (fraud) in institutional abuse slavery (slavery is still a thing including digital).
For example hidden cameras to tracking devices to stream someone selling them online for profit w/o consent and there is no digital charter globally to fight the blackmail material slavery aspect.
Just a perspective.
(Like faking a "lie detector test" on camera) gaslighting the audience to audio listening devices being used inappropriately. Just an example for a possible case study in how certain types earn a paycheck chasing numbers or paper on a screen.
U all wish I was schizophrenic
We are actually just hyper enlightened and unusually enlightened…. It's the ghosts of people that we talk to, we just don't know…
I don't know sometimes where to point to but I know I did make love yet at the mall.
Just wanna eat thar big ol' plate of nueva ejia from the restaurant 😝
A big bro already angry at me is hard enough
We got diagnosed with DID of July this year. We're trying to learn more about it to understand our experiences better. It happens due to repeated childhood trauma that felt impossible to escape. Thank you for this video.
Was I wrong?
I need help
I appreciate going in detail regarding Schizophrenia this was an educating topic
why is ichiban kasuga in the thumbnail? I mean, ig it makes sense because he most likely IS schizophrenic, something we can deduce by ppl shape-shifting to him whenever he starts a street fight, but y:lad was made like 6 years after this video.
Well when you gaslight people who arnt into thinking they are the mind may break but the strong mind stays strong 💪🏾
D.I.D was the only dissociative disorder here, I would have loved to hear about Depersonalization as it is most certainly a real thing and though it is rare it is nowhere near as rare and there isnt much support out there for people who suffer with it. Thanks
2:30 Hold on, i just realized i misunderstood this symptom as AD(H)D and never knew this could be one of Schizophrenia.
And as someone who's considering themselves having ADD and early symptoms of schizophrenia, this is making so much sense.
So, ADHD/ADD would be external information and stimulus being the issue, and for schizophrenia it would be internal?
I definitely have some ADD symptoms, like unability to focus on something easily, especially when there's too much stimulus for me to think, or too little to get distraction thoughts away, staying still for long periods of time (i can be very still, but it feels exhausting), remember daily tasks, sometimes seconds after being told and having listened.. so i still plan on asking my psychiatrist about it, but struggling with jumping on different train of thoughts being schizophrenia is simply so fitting. I forget everyday, at least once, what i'm talking about in a conversation, without the world around me being the reason; i then have to rely on some external clue, like who i'm talking to, to remember. I'm able to form coherent speech, but coming up with sentences on the go is difficult, and whenever i'm alone, i keep forgetting what i was thinking about without even anything external getting in the way.
It would be far from my first symptoms of it. I hope to get a diagnosis soon enough.
Thank you so much for making this knowledge so accessible. I'm definitely coming back.
sometimes I want school and other trivial thoughts to be quiet

I watched this video years ago during a difficult time in my life. Today I have a diagnosis of schizoaffective disorder, and understand myself far better now and manage it well. Thank you for making this video, it helped immensely with identifying symptoms and causes 💗💗 You are right, understanding is the key to compassion. And with compassion we can heal from the things that disturb us 🙂 thank you again!
