Residential Treatment Center at Boys Town – Help for Youth with Behavioral and Mental Disorders

The Boys Town Residential Treatment Center (RTC) at Boys Town National Research Hospital serves children and teens age 5-18 who have severe mental and/or behavioral disorders. Our goal is to help children gain the self-assurance, and academic and social skills to succeed in life. Our facility secure treatment program for children is specifically designed to offer medically directed care for more seriously troubled youth who require around-the-clock supervision, safety and therapy, but do not require inpatient psychiatric care. Also referred to as Boys Town PRFT (Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility), the Center is part of the nationally recognized Boys Town integrated system of child and family services.
