Are People with Schizophrenia Telepathic?
No—people with schizophrenia are not telepathic. However, some individuals with schizophrenia may feel like others can hear their thoughts or that they can read other people’s minds. This is actually a symptom called thought broadcasting or thought insertion, and it comes from the brain misinterpreting internal thoughts as if they’re being shared or controlled by someone else.
It can feel incredibly real to the person experiencing it, but it’s not actual telepathy—it’s a part of the illness and can be treated with therapy, medication, and support.

Once the brain is wired that way…well your in there like swim wear…
Hold on it's gonna be ah Hell of ah ride
How do you know that you didn't read their minds and they lied about what they were thinking, and you were in fact right.
Sometimes I know.
Yes i have that. It's worse in the hospital. You got this. You are awesome.
I do not have schizophrenia but as a young guy I shared house with someone who did. And he did believe he could read my mind but it was really psychosis, he imagined I was thinking things I was not, this could be very difficult sometimes. He also thought I could read his mind, which I could not.
So it must be difficult when your having a pyschosic episode?
Thank you
I know I probably shouldn't say this., but nobody should disregard truth just because everyone around them says it isn't true.. If I see an apple, but everyone around me says it's an orange., I refuse to call it an orange.. Remember when everyone said the world was flat.? Too many people are afraid of not fitting in..
I think you upload some informational content, but I have to respectfully disagree (sort of disagree)..
I’m schizophrenic and I can definitely read minds…. at least I think I can. I hate when my thoughts go on the thought radio it’s so awkward 😕 😖
Se puede saber que medicinas tomas ? (Nombres)
It's a terrible way to get ill. I try to avoid it. Take medication and try not to drift that direction. Anyway, the whole idea of telepathy/psychic is something out of science fiction, like something aliens might have the ability for. For humans it would be a detestable curse, not a part of our evolutionary state. In my own experience with schizophrenia telepathy (psychic communication) and voices are almost allways illusions, but once in a while you can find a true voice. Its a voice that opposes lies.
I have rhat issue where i think people can read my thoughts
When you broadcast is only the watchers capable of picking up frequencies? Or dare say one minutely blind reflection denial gland sends out ones word's core sense of proximity or adjacency.
I have psychosis, not schizophrenic, and i have thought broadcasting. It sucks. The anxiety it gives me thinking that, even if just for a second, the person im talking to can hear what im thinking about, whether good or bad, is pervasive. And the guilt i feel for just thinking something bad, even if minor, even if its just an invasive thought, is insane because i get that "theyre listening" or "what if" moment that shuts the thought process down immediately.
