Documentary: Building BDA Behavioral Healthcare From $0 to $8 Figures/Episode 1
Brett DiNovi & Associates (BDA), a behavioral healthcare company, has had many failures over 17.5 years, yet it continues to persist & thrive through the most turbulent of times in our lifetime by growing from $0 in 2004 to an $8 figure empire in 2021 across 5 states serving thousands of learners. One such failure to date is the opening of the Operant Learning Center (OLC) which can’t yet gain student admissions to make it sustainable over time.
This documentary introduces the viewer to the beginning of the documentary highlighting one of BDA’s many failures and a behind the curtain look of authentic footage of how BDA arrived at where we are today.

Your staff are very very impressive. It seems you have many people in specialized roles. I’m interested in what those roles entail, as I believe it might correlate to the way staff communicates during these meetings with very direct and on-task comments. This project is extremely socially significant to our field as it is brings light to common barriers that we face. I am so excited to see more. Can’t wait for the next episode. This is such important work. Practitioner informed research within the OLC would be additionally valuable as you navigate this journey!
