(Almost) psych nurse here & this is so refreshing for me to hear. I think a lot of the nursing world doesn’t view psych as real nursing so it’s nice to hear people say it’s hard. Medical nursing is hard too, just in a completely different way. But it scares the crap out of me and I don’t think I could ever do it 🙅🏼♀️ So, mad respect for anyone who does!

Psych nursing is what I want to do but I guess it makes sense why it’s after med surg in the third semestet
