Schizophrenia Episode Patient Video #mentalhealth #schizophrenia #mentalhealthmatters
I was just sitting in my living room working on something when out of nowhere a hallucination showed up. It’s like one second everything’s normal and the next my brain just changes the scene. I take a breath, remind myself what’s real, and keep going.
Schizophrenia Episode Patient Video
Hi, I’m Michelle and I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia. To show that my episodes of psychosis are non-violent, I use a security camera in my apartment to document them. The recordings show me sitting on my couch, talking to myself, and making strange facial expressions, but I do not pose any harm or threat to others.
I was just sitting in my living room, working on something, when out of nowhere, a hallucination showed up. It’s like one second everything’s normal, and the next, my brain just… changes the scene. I take a breath, remind myself what’s real, and keep going.

Its amazing to me how you have learned to adapt to this hallucinations going and coming and keeping herself together. I guess that's what the medication comes into the world of having this Schizophrenia disease. You make it much easier to really understand what people go through with this disease .❤
Schizophrenia is bad, but paranoid schizophrenia is worse…
Good job

It's important to hear about your episodes
Have a nice weekend
Im so sorry lots of hugs❤
Sometimes hallucinations can be scary. I feel so bad.❤ I hope that you’re able to heal and help spread the word during the process. Thank you for all you do.❤❤
You're really strong to be able to manage your hallucinations like that ❤
I wonder. How do the hallucinations manifest? And can you easily tell they are not real?
I wish my son would understand the people telling him things are not real.
Have you seen this guy on YouTube or tik tok where he had a dog that was trained by letting his owner know if he was talking to a human or hallucinations? Just curious
