AdvancedMD has introduced AdvancedMD Now, a unified practice management, electronic health record (EHR), and patient engagement system designed specifically for mental health practices with up to three providers. The platform includes clinical documentation, scheduling, billing, and telehealth features, and is structured to support behavioral health workflows, including DSM-5-aligned templates and long-form treatment planning.
The launch comes as the U.S. faces a significant shortage of mental health professionals, with a 2024 HRSA report showing that more than one-third of the population lives in areas with limited mental health service availability. The platform is being offered with a 30-day free trial to reduce setup barriers for small or solo practices.
AdvancedMD Now aims to streamline operations by removing the need for multiple vendors and complex onboarding processes. It supports remote care, outcome monitoring, and clinical assessments, offering a cohesive system without requiring additional integrations. After the trial, the service is available at $130 per month with no long-term contract. Amanda Sharp, CEO, AdvancedMD, noted, “AdvancedMD Now is an affordable platform that is quick to implement and designed specifically for small mental health groups or solo practices. Our goal is to give mental health providers the tools they need to run and scale their business without having to cut corners on features and functionality.”
