North Central Kansas Medical Center (NCKMC) is pleased to announce the addition of Sara Hake, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), to its Family Care Center. Sara is now accepting new patients and will provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals of all ages.

Sara brings specialized training in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, including medication management and supportive mental health care. Her approach focuses on meeting patients where they are and helping them build healthier, more balanced lives.

“Mental health is a critical part of overall wellness,” said NCKMC Administrator, Dave Garnas. “We are proud to expand access to mental health services in our community and believe Sara will make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the patients she serves.”

Mental health affects how individuals think, feel, and function each day. Conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress, and mood disorders are common and treatable, and early support often leads to better long-term outcomes. By offering mental health care within the Family Care Center, NCKMC aims to ensure that local residents have convenient, confidential access to needed support.

Sara has been a lifetime resident of Concordia, beginning her career with Cloud County Health Center in 2009. She has filled various roles from LPN to RN and in 2025, she graduated from Chamberlain University as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Sara is located inside the Family Care Center at NCK Medical Center and is currently accepting new patients.
