SSRI Paxil, zoloft, fluoxitine anxiety, depression OCD, PTSD. End in line usually increases serotonin circulation in brain. St John's wart increases serotonin too and can cause SEROTONIN SYNDROME agitation, fever, muscle rigity, tachycardia, nausea vomiting, diaphoreseis. SE of ssris insomnia, sexual dysfunction and weight gain. Effects may not be felt for several weeks. SSRNIS MEDS= DULOXETINE, VENLAFAXINE, anxiety neuropathic pain, anxiety. "I don't need a dulux apartment to be happy, I just need to take my DULOXETINE". These inhibit reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine which increases the amount of these neurotransmitters in the brain. If st John's wart taken with will increase risk of serotonin syndrome, can decrease libido.st John's wart increases risk of serotonin syndrome with both ssri and ssrnis. Sex dysfunction with both.

What about SSRIs causing anhedonia/apathy? It's not something that is talked about. There is a paper titled "Apathy associated with antidepressant drugs: a systematic review" on it.
In 2022, they proved serotonin doesnt play a part in depression and ssris, antidepressants dont work. At all. Look it up. London university.
