The nonprofit Building Hope Summit County, in partnership with the Katz Amsterdam Foundation and Professional Research Consultants, is launching its behavioral health survey, inviting Summit County adults to share their experiences and perspectives on mental health, substance use and overall community well-being, according to a news release from the organization.
Conducted every two years since 2020, the survey provides critical data on the needs, strengths and gaps within Summit County’s behavioral health system. By comparing results across time, the survey helps identify trends, measure progress and guide strategic decision-making to better support community members, the release stated.
In addition to behavioral health needs, the survey explores how welcoming and supportive Summit County is for individuals experiencing mental health challenges or substance-use concerns. It also examines residents’ perceptions of the community as a place to live, offering valuable insight into overall quality of life and community connection, according to the release. Results from previous years and results from this year’s survey are viewable at TinyUrl.com/bdctptf4.
The insights help inform local funding decisions, programming and services that support the health and well-being of the community, the release stated. All adults 18 years old and older who live in Summit County are encouraged to participate.
