A 33-year-old Wayne Twp. man faces numerous drug offenses after authorities found large amounts of methamphetamine and contraband during a search of his home in December.
Kyle F. Lombel, of 406 Moonhill Drive, was charged by the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s office after a court-ordered search and seizure warrant was executed at his home. The search was conducted by state police and members of the DA’s Drug Task Force.
Police said they found in the home 52.2 grams of methamphetamine, 5.94 grams of mushrooms containing psilocyn and five suspected MDMA pills.
They also found numerous items of contraband, including an electric scale, a digital scale tray, resealable bags and a vacuum sealer. They also found $70,000 cash, which Lombel admitted were proceeds from selling methamphetamine.
Lombel told police that all of the items of contraband found were his, and that he had been involved in selling methamphetamine for a long time.
Lombel faces felony charges of possession with intent to deliver, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activity and knowledge that property represents proceeds of an illegal act. He also faces misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Christian Lengel in Tremont.
