MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – Ochsner Rush Health has integrated mental health services into its primary care clinics, allowing patients to receive behavioral health support at the same locations where they see their primary care physicians and advanced practice providers.
The initiative is available at five clinic locations: Ochsner Health Center – Southeast (601-490-9410), Ochsner Health Center – Quitman (601-776-2123), Ochsner Health Center – Philadelphia (601-656-6921), Ochsner Health Center – Hwy 39 (601-484-6180), and Ochsner Health Center – Newton (601-683-3117).
Patients can schedule appointments for initial behavioral health assessments, psychotherapy sessions lasting 45–60 minutes, family therapy, and couples counseling.
The behavioral health team includes Brandon Allen, PMHNP-BC, who provides care for patients aged 6 and up; Anita Lee, LPC, who offers counseling for individuals aged 5 and older; and Lasaundra Roberts, PMHNP-BC, who specializes in care for adults aged 18 and over.
The team also includes Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Behavioral Health and Psychiatry Nurse Practitioners, and Psychologists.
