GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Alachua County Public Schools will be hosting a free resiliency summit for athletes on Thursday.

This is the 3rd time that ACPS will be holding this event. Coaches and community organizations will help students better understand how to take care of their mental health, on and off the field.

This event will feature special guest speakers, breakout sessions, food and giveaways, and real conversations about mental health in athletics.

The keynote speakers include Vanasia Bradley-Malovision, a gymnastics coach and former Elite American gymnast and Natalie Hinds, a USA Olympic swimmer and 2020 Bronze Medalist.

The summit will be at the Champions Club at the University of Florida football stadium starting at 6 p.m. and going until 8:30 p.m.

The event is free and is open to middle and high school students and their families, but seats will be prioritized for ACPS students.
