EXCLUSIVE: Psychological thriller Dr. Q, starring and produced by Tara Reid, has secured distribution with X4 Pictures, which will release digitally from May 4 on platforms including Amazon Prime, Fandango at home, Cox and Comcast.
American Pie and Sharknado actress Reid plays a psychiatrist who struggles to aid her stranded family and patients while grappling with her own mental state.
The film is directed by White Cross as well as written by Cross and Jared Vineyard and is a production of Tatu Behind the Stars.
Reid said of the film: “It’s a mental health piece drawing attention to the mental health crisis around the world experienced after lockdown. It’s a story of loss but it’s also a story of resilience. I know this story will help so many who went through similar circumstances alone not feel as alone anymore. It’s an important piece.”
