would love to not take meds but I turn into the incredible hulk plus my emotions not good yet working on mindfulness, coping strategies has really helped
I was extremely nervous, but the first time I did acupuncture, I felt completely euphoric afterward. I was just completely relaxed and comfortable inside my body for the first time, in a long time. I had to sit and wait at the office, because I felt almost high, so I didn't feel like I should be driving. (Although, full disclosure- after that first time, it did provide some relief from chronic back pain and it felt relaxing. But I never quite experienced the same relaxed "high" feeling again)
Thank you for these videos. I saw your video on Pepcid for PMDD. I think you said it could help, but more research is needed. I'm already on birth control and an SSRI, so the treatments I haven't been able to get myself to do are diet and exercise. Pepcid is helping!!!! I don't care if it's a placebo effect because I'm able to get out of bed and do things. I still have the normal PMS stuff of cramps, cravings, and being silly emotional, but I can deal with those. I teared up over something truly stupid yesterday and was able to laugh about it. Hubby said previously I would have shut down.
I have gone through cognitive therapy and completed it. I have to tools but still have bad days, i was looking for something i could try on bad days, so hoping this will work! Thank you!!
I’ve been on medications for awhile. Taking vitamin D (either on its own or in conjunction with a calcium supplement) has definitely improved my symptoms.
I started taking calcium a way back and started noticing that when I ran out (and didn’t refill), my mood started to dip. When I got back on it, my mood definitely improved/stabilized.

I’m surprised that if acupuncture was mentioned that mild exercise is (like walking outside) wasn’t.
Way outside your scope of practice

The only medication I take regularly is famotidine, is the saint johns wart okay for me?
5-HTP did nothing for me. Even when I doubled the dose all it did was constipate.
CBT/DBT all of those things are for people incapable of intelligent thought.
