Grow Green Match Day takes place this Wednesday, April 22. On Wednesday, donations between $25 and $1,000 will be matched at 50 percent through the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation, up to a total of $7,500.
This year, Pawnee Mental Health is raising money to expand art-based healing services. Leaders say creative activities help children and adults express feelings, cope with stress, and work through trauma when words are not enough. For children, art can provide a way to communicate. For adults, it can help reduce anxiety and support emotional healing.
Donors can give online, donate at a live event from 7:00-6:00 p.m. at Colony Square Atrium in Manhattan, or at Meadowlark’s Remote Donation Station at Prairie Star Restaurant from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Online donations can be made all day on April 22.
Organizers say every gift helps improve access to care and support across the community, and participation is open to donors anywhere, not just in Manhattan.
