Behavioral Health Nonprofit celebrates 54 years
FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Guidance Center celebrated 54 years of serving the mental and behavioral health needs of Western Arkansas on Friday.
Organizers say the annual celebration serves as a time for reflection and an opportunity to raise awareness of the resources available to families in need.
“We are here and we have services 24-7 and we need your support to make this thing work and we are here,” the Guidance Center’s HC Varnadore said. “We are here for the community and we’ve been here for 54 years now and we plan on being here at least another 50.”
